If I were to upgrade; I'd go with LG. (I'm on a Sony Bravia LCD gadget)

Reasons:

- I'd be interested in going 3D + LED.

- At the moment; it's the Koreans (LG & Samsung) who have better pricing

- I prefer passive 3D technology (what LG uses) over active 3D technology (What Samsung uses)

- Generally, the Koreans are pumping loads of R&D efforts into futuristic technologies; hence my inclination towards them
