Hi It depends on the structure of the PDF and if the creator used Acrobat to created the PDF. If they protected the PDF using acrobat you will not be able to do this. If they used a clone you can. I hope this helps. Btw you can save to word or excel directly from acrobat 8/9. Very cool feature as it retains the original documents formatting.
