vmware player will let you manage all virtual machines from one desktop... And u can network them. N run vnc on them hehe..
Anwy i used it at a clients site. I was stuck coz win7 doesnt come with outlook express or Windows mail and u cant import outlook express mails to MS outlook without having having them runing on the actuall mail client. so i install vmware player run xp. install xp lite 150mb .overite outlook exp data files. install ms outlook and import from outlook express. then get the .pst file and copy it via real vnc or to a shared file to the win7 platform and problem solved. Got paid. 12k/= due to the urgency of the work. I had to clap for myself.
Cheers mate, appreciate the help. Am going to find a win7 pro machine
and test it out asap. :-)
One question though, the XP Pro Mode ( XPM ) runs virtually and the
full install is provided by the download. What would be the reason to
run vmware player?
