tuma 310 na ndata ita rudishwo .... to soon? here is my guide of dealing with solo acts , we deal with solo acts because we don't have the money to spend on big names and sometimes these solo acts are the best .. so here is a quick list
- No deposits , anyone worth his salt should be able to guarantee results unless there us purchase of parts which should be in reference with other vendors not mambo ya kuuziwa vitu hohe hahe
- Time lines , once again they should give you proper timelines and unless death if a close one should those timelines be over looked
- Test before payment, you know what you wanted and how you wanted it ..so test it before paying don't let them show you that they've fixed it ... most sys admins know the famous dev scape goat of "it works on my machine"
- presentation , if the fella is like "Buddah hakuna ,mbrrcha nita get get ki stlye ya kuruka" ... run for the hills , if the fella shows up dressed up like you're going for camping or safari sevens .. run for the hills , if the fella tries to tell you about "mshida za kinyumbani aka maina kageni stories" , he's basically trying to endear himself to you ... do i need to say it???
- company/identity , now if you have a computer problem and the guy has a business card with names like general suppliers , merchant services , global solution .. this means the guy will just about do anything so if a "kadeal" happens to pop up , your issue will be promptly be put on the back burner
- technical interview, whatever problem you have , research how it would normally be resolved e.g. data recovery ..you know they might clone , surface scan or raw data recovery ... get a conversation where they will have to give up info on how they're are gonna do it , if you dont here any words that sound familiar ... join the london marathon and RUUUNNN!!
So there , these were compiled on the fly .. not considering anyone's feelings or affiliations
