You don't see a major issue - whereas a spammer can just go to the site and harvest your email address and send you requests to buy vi*gr* which you don't even need? Even mailing list archives all over hide the email addresses to protect the group users from simple scammers - this is the issue, and if you still don't really see the issue, then allow me to share your email address which people who really need it - the scammers :-)

In short, don't  have anything in your posts that you'd mind the whole
world seeing. IMO, I don't see a major issue...
