Yes! If you are behind a mail server that uses a dnssec validating DNS server, you'll have a .ke outage.

In fact, any service using validating servers will experience an outage for the entire .ke domain. Think of Bank API calls, Android apps on your phone (Nairobi city parking app), Safaricom APIs for bulk sms etc. If anything is being terminated by .ke. domain, you'll have problems. I really hope that KENIC publishes a post-mortem for this issue.
