Are you asking us "why you need a phone"? Unless I don't understand the 2nd part of your question, it's not upon us to justify why you need a phone. It's you to decide why you need a phone. Now, with 30k, I suggest you get a Nokia E72 because it is a business phone and I love it. That's besides the fact that I don't even use its "business" functions that much. They are there for you to use. You will spend about 25k on the E72. The rest you can M-Pesa to me for the "consultation".
Ask yourself: What features do I need in a phone?
Then head to GSM Arena and ogle, ogle, ogle, read the reviews, decide, then ask us where you can find the one you need locally. Because you haven't quite decided, I think you don't even have a budget as yet so bid your time and decide, and don't ask such a question again!
