
@Guys, Why did the lady not clarify to Wesley that all he needed was a connection into KIXP and problem sorted. Simple, she had no freakin.... clue of what she was being asked. *She could have even sold to Wesley a local loop from AK into KIXP*. As I mentioned and Mich confirmed, connection into KIXP and problem resolved. Now how complicated or a quantum mechanics of a question is it? @Wesley, I agree with John and Michuki (also the AK lady),that local loop is the connection say from the office(client) to the ISP or connection btwn 2 of your branch offices,meaning no traffic to the internet.This actually is the work of a Public Data Network Operator-PDNO (not ISP) although in Kenya almost all ISP's have PDNO licences thus confusing clients.This actually what has been keeping KDN in business sinve 2003and TKL's kenstream,they weren't selling internet but the infrastructure(loops).
