This is quite funny:

I tried to call 0771n (where n = XXXXXX) and I get the following "The number you have called has been changed. Please call 991 for assistance".
Well, because I am calling from a landline, I decide to call Orange CC via 100 since getting through to 991 is a nightmare.
I get a lady who sings to me "Welcome to ...." then I tell her my problem.
She goes ahead and insists that the number has no problem at all, even without any testing!
I tell her that it's the TKL/Orange systems which are telling me there is a problem. It's not anything of my own creation, and her saying all is well is tantamount to opposing what their systems are telling me, because else, my phone call would go through.
...and guess what next?

She asks me to tell the contact I was trying to reach to call 100 and tell them if he is having a problem with his phone.LOL
What she's not telling me is how to reach this contact!

Just made my day, though I wonder if Orange employs a few androids in Customer Care.

Of the Telcos in Kenya, I still think Safaricom has better CC staff though they are not the best. Any opinions?
