I will say personally a true IT guy should start with 50K if a fresh graduate.However if the job is demanding not just internet browsing,ideal is 70K.
Companies should gauge if they need a frustrated IT guy or outsource the service from a smiling fellow.
No need to employ a professional and frustrate him/her.
Separately IT guys should not behave like the industry is full of desperate fellows just to agree any kind of salary in the name of am WORKING and in the real sense you are SUFFERING.

My pure recomendation is Ksh 25,000 else the company does not need the IT Support personnel, thats a provision for a grown company. There is no need to employ IT support if you are giving less than that and at some point out-sourcing is cheaper!
