One thing for sure, the CCK has established this platform for averting a situation like what we experienced in 07/08. Therefore, checking the status of your IMEI, means that you're still allowed to use the handset, after the 30th September deadline. However, challenges abound. Instead of querying why CCK came up with this now, it's better we checked the IMEI status earlier, before it's too late.
