Application Engineer (1 person):

Total experience: 7+ years

Experience as Application Implementation  Engineer: 4+ years

 

Qualification:

·         Diploma/certificate in computer science or higher

·         Good communication skills both verbal and written, should know English and Kenya local language.

·         Should be proficient in computer operations and internet application usage.

·         Must have experience in software product implementation and support (at least 2 implementations)

·         Should have adequate social skills for customer facing role.

Expectations from Role:

·         Learn the proposed HMIS tool functionalities and become the master trainer

·         Train the local users on application use

·         Support the implementation team during implementation

·         Provide support during UAT

·         Provide L1 and L2 support to users post go-live (track the issues, resolve the issues or escalate to issue to next level)

 

System / Network Engineer (4 persons)     

The expectations from System and Network Engineer is to assist in implementation, support and manage the entire IT Infrastructure:

·         Provide L1/ L2 support at desktop, network, server level

·         Managing and Troubleshooting Infrastructure

·         Knowledge on configuration of logs and review of system logs

·         Monitoring of network and system activity and Report malicious or suspicious activity on systems to concerned authority. Relevant knowledge of various EMS will be an added advantage

·         Maintain user access administration (User creation, deletion and modification)

·         Physical security of assets

·         Comply with password requirements

·         Security Awareness Training

·         Policy and procedure formulation

·         Managing asset, incident and vendor coordination

·         Knack of carrying out Security investigation

·         Report writing and analytical skills

·         Disable unnecessary services on servers

·         Generate/Retain system backups

·         Managing asset, incident and vendor coordination along with change management, problem management

·         Hardware and Software Asset Management

·         Preparing the Test Plan and the Test Strategy document according to the current testing scope and send it to the stake holders/clients for their approval

·         Plan, coordinate, direct, and design IT-related activities as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities

Experience – Implementation and setup of small Remote offices, including physical structure network wiring, layout, routing of cables, Patch panels installation, jack panels, rack cabling, desktop installation and support etc.

 

Qualification   -    BE/B.Tech in  CSE/ECE/IT

 

Technology Infrastructure Lead (1 person)

The expectations from Infrastructure Lead is to do Project Plan Tracking and Status Reporting, Project Governance, Vendor Management, Site Evaluation pre and post Infra Implementation.

·         Total work experience: minimum 10+ years of which 5+ years IT Application/System Integration Project/Infrastructure Project Program Management experience

·         Should have managed at least 1 full lifecycle program, and multiple IT projects simultaneously

·         Overall coordination and implementation and Support incharge

·         Coordination with vendors and  internal and external stake holders.

·         Windows Active Directory, Hands on experience L3 + including Patch management tools, Security policies,

·         Windows/Linux Hands on experience  but to a level of L2

·         Networking on switching, routing, level of L2/L3 with hands on experience, Router configuration etc.

·         Architect role for at least 6 Months including sizing.

·         Server Components including SQL etc, Printing, USB Peripherals, Lock down policies , Firewall  & Antivirus solutions.

·         Server Room Management including Rack layout, cabling, fibre routing, networking – physical layer.

·         Vendor Management for SLA/Troubleshooting and escalations.

·         Effectively maintain and build relationships across business groups, geographic locations, with demonstrated leadership capabilities and influencing skills across levels

·         Extensive experience in leading complex IT projects /programs; Experience in delivery of turn key projects. Should have excellent command on overall project planning and execution

·         Create a team oriented work climate that enables professional development and encourages creative solutions and strategies, establishes collaboration and emphasizes quality and cost effectiveness

·         Provide coaching and oversight to project managers

·         Ability to recognize up and downstream impacts, and plan impact mitigations

·         Proficiency in the identification and use of Risk Management practices

·         Should be proficient in the usage of Enterprise Project Management tools (like MS Project and/or Clarity, other planning tools) to manage projects/programs

·         Assertive Leadership skills displayed while dealing with very senior stakeholders from IT and Business; Exceptional oral and communication skills – a MUST

·         Must be a proven task-master, and expert in Stakeholder management; demonstrated experience dealing with bringing together multiple teams across diverse stakeholder groups in IT & Business, and leading them through

·         Proficiency of IT Project Management Lifecycle, System Integration Lifecycle processes and methodologies

·         Proficiency in the use of Financial management practices

Change Manager (1 person)

Responsibilities:

·         Ability to look at the big picture and articulate well

·         Excellent at communication with executive presence

·         Ability to work with various stake holders in Government projects

·         Good at managing relations, collaborating and influencing outside of direct sphere of influence

·         Flexible in approach to work with a diverse set of development groups

 

Qualifications:

·         Experience: 8 - 10 years

·         Education: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization

·         Must have: Experience in managing large projects, Manage training, Recruitment, HMIS Implementation experience, Vendor Management, & Ownership of change management track

·         Good to have: MBA (From Premier institute), Experience in Government projects, Ability to work in Multi-cultural settings, Healthcare background

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·         Ability to manage change management, design related documents, & own the change management program

·         Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple form to cross-functional departments or teams

·         Ability to manage complex projects and resources (people, costs, and time) across multiple departments

·         Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems; ability to mediate and resolve intricate issues

·         Ability to provide leadership and influence others

·         Ability to strategize, plan and implement change
