The ONLY mistake Gadaffi did is to call himself "Lord of Lords"/King of Kings - period. That is when his judgement started. The ONLY Lord of Lords is Jesus Christ.

Apparently, that is the hard part every dictator finds himself in even after decades of 'fruitlessly' searching for a successor. You remember M01 saying "nimeangalia hawa wote sijaona mtu". That is just in the nature of a dictator.
