for folks who might find themselves in a similar situation and you dont have the hirens cd with you, you can boot with a windows XP cd and choose the option to repair installation.<div><br></div><div>Then during installation, press &quot;Shift + F10&quot; you will be taken to a command prompt, type &quot;control userpasswords2&quot; and from there u can reset the admin password or any other password of users in the system.<br>
