What sware are you using to create the start up disk ....have you tried using this?
I think I am going insane. I have tried this a hundred thousand times.Im running Ubuntu 11.04, i have Isos for Debian 6, Ubuntu 10.10 and 11.04, i upgraded from 10.10 and dont like a number of issues i carried along, so i would like to do a fresh install. I have no CD drive so the only option is USB. I have done this a hundred times before. So i get a flash drive 2GB, put it in, go to the startup disc creator and create a startup disk to completion. I reboot the machine and it tells me Boot error on the flash. ive tried with the debs, with the 10.10 and with the 11.04. ive narrowed it to the flash or the new startup creator, i installed the kde version of startup creator and nothing as yet....any more suggestions?
