i dont think safaricom net, has anything to do with the how long your battery lasts or any net work whatsoever ...maybe should ld check with nokia care centers when u come to kenya ...

it could be also your mobile usage when in kenya , maybe you use more when in kenya than SA :)

I want to believe there is something with Safaricom network. I have two phones, a Nokia (used on Zain) and an Ericsson (used on Safaricom). The Ericsson needs to be recharged everyday, even though I don't use it as much as the Nokia. The same thing happens when I connect the Nokia to Safaricom -- I have to charge it everyday as battery level drops so fast, even minus any significant usage. On Zain, the phones can last 3-4 days without requiring to be recharged.

Did anyone realize that there are so many times the network signal on the phone goes off on phones connected to Safaricom?
I think there are several mild occurrences of such, leading to battery drain, the same way a battery drains fast when you are in an area where there is no network coverage.
