M-Pesa is definitely a differentiator and all Safaricom will have to say is that if you port you loose your MPESA account, that will kill migration on the spot. No matter how unreliable, intermittent the service is, it is the only reason why some of us still have the line. If you need to enjoy airtel rates, you get another sim card, which is where we are at the moment. It's no wonder they are quiet about this whole thing.
