I called the zain customer care immediately upon failing on several attempts - and the person on the other end said that "safcom" had blocked their calls.. and they reported the matter to CCK.. I am not sure I was supposed to know this :-) . Anyway, i think it should be fixed now - hoping it was congestion and not a block...
