Equity Group Foundation in partnership with Equity Bank, MasterCard Foundation, UKaid and USAID runs the Wings to Fly Program, USAID/EGF Scholarship & Leaders Program and the Equity Bank University Sponsorship Program which together comprise more than 2,100 high school students and more than 1,400 post high school scholars and professionals in more than 450 institutions. An additional 2,000 students join the Wings to Fly Program in Jan. 2012 as part of a 6,600-student, 9-year, $70m commitment to the Wings to Fly program. Equity Group Foundation seeks to extensively leverage IT to manage its scholarship, academic and leadership development programs and seeks to hire a professional to help define, implement and manage a virtual campus comprising its students/scholars.
