Get other struggling operators and join in the struggle for customers.

No one will go change their line because your shop uses another operator... unless you are selling tickets to the moon for 100 shillings.

Come on guys, devs have been barking up this tree ever since MPESA was invented. I honestly think that Safaricom are very comfortable milking the system in it's current form, and any e-commerce venture for MPESA will probably be reactionary. My point is that, you're better off trying to get one of the other struggling operators to come up with an API, than looking at Safaricom itself first
