What we can debate on whether it is or is not pertinent to success of an individual. There are many success stories coming out from the dropouts Sir Richard branson, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, they're all important people. They all made it. But they made it because of one thing and one thing alone. They had what it took to go that extra mile for themselves and they knew how to do it.
I don't know much about Zuckerberg, when facebook first came about i read that he put the blog together so that he could on a friday night stop feeling lonely after his girlfriend broke up with him, it got popular and now. I consider that luck more than anything. ( This is if it is true. )
I know from what i have heard that Branson is a hell of a businessman and he made it due to raw willpower. comes from what i understand is a rather poor background. Steve jobs himself explained in his speech that his family wasn't an elitist family. Bill gates, a smart businessman.
