I'm no expert on World Bank funds and the rest, but this thread was to try and keep track off.

Now we have a serious problem here: Both iHub and Akirchix have confirmed that they have no knowledge of such funds being allocated to them or even used by them. The World Bank site shows P122163 USD 490,000 ( close to Ksh 40 million ) grant of Nov 2010, Extending Mobile Applications in Africa through Social Networking - Kenya (Akirchix). ( http://maps.worldbank.org/afr/kenya )

Did the World Bank ever release this money, to whom and what for and why is it marked as "Extending Mobile Applications in Africa through Social Networking - Akirchix" ?

Who can help us establish how these funds worked? This is a plea for help from knowledgeable persons.

Rgds.
