Also note the Pavillion is an Entertainment laptop and not meant for office purposes simply because its meant to run 5-7 hrs a day max. If you force it as I have some clients you have it wont last 2 years in an office environment.
I have another office-type laptop, I've not used this machine heavily - I use it as it was intended to be used. Mainly music, photos, movies...and not every other day. Just once in a while.
I know the specs are super but you will be buying adaptors every 2-3 months (esp the cheap ones in town @ 4k) .......Go for Commercial laptops!!!!
I've never had issues with it, not even with the adaptors, except for some time I applied an update from HP and the remote stopped working...so I rolled back. Just noticed something ....it's not sending power to the hard drive either - just as with the display - but is powering the DVD-RW.
