Dear KENET,
Your mirrors ubuntu.mirror.ac.ke & debian.mirror.ac.ke have been
unavailable for more than a week. Given that you are listed as Kenya's
official mirror for debian and ubuntu, it's unacceptable to be down
for this amount of time. It sucks that I have to reconfigure a bunch
of boxes with a new upstream. PLEASE FIX THIS!
If you can't keep the servers up, do not register as an official mirror!

Be committed to being a mirror. Obviously, each offer to be an Ubuntu
mirror is great and users appreciate it. However, it's in nobody's
interest to go and change the sources.list every time a mirror
disappears. So if you're not planning on creating a mirror for the
long run, don't register it. People might get disappointed in you
and/or Ubuntu.
