@Michael, thnks for sharing the power rationing tip. :-)
my general terrible opinion, pls feel free to correct : living/business costs to go up and private power producers to make a killing on power generation. Why do we have PPG companies in the first place? This power rationing thing is a white wash ( drought was forecast almost 3 years ago ), using low water levels as an excuse to inject short term solutions and create "business oppurtunities for diesel plants, diesel fuel supplies, transport, power generation, temporary imports waivers.... " and all this is going to happen at whose expense? A carry forward of generations of a thinking process.
Maybe ICT, scripting too boring....we need to get our hands on a 24 piston ( ship engine ) power plant diesel engine capable of 50 MWatt, bury copper around it and sell power much much cheaper. Solutions are many, but why will those who are responsible for future development not do the right thing. Para 1 above........
:-)
