@Aki, Maybe someone heard you....Mark Levoy, Professor of computer science at Stanford is developing an open source camera. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/09/090903163953.htm Open source camera? What are the possibilities:Auto maker creates open source car and some hobbyist discovers a means to double the gas mileage. Cancer center releases their current drug research under the GPL and retired chemist discovers cure for cancer. Phone developers releases next smart phone as open source and open source developers go crazy making apps to outshine iPhone app store. ./bernard On Mon, Aug 17, 2009 at 2:02 PM, aki <aki275@googlemail.com> wrote:
Hi Ndungu, all I'm looking for is competitive pricing and something to reflect current trends i.e 41% drops. While it may not be possible to have international pricing locally due to volumes and demand, something in the region of 5-15% over also not bad. Its something people can buy locally. Me, I'm not going to buy a newer TV unless the supplier is willing to show me *the bill of landing*. If it arrived after june, then i know I'm paying the correct price. I'd rather wait a year before making such a purchase. :-)
Hi @Wash, you have a good idea about ICTZine. :-)
Hi @matere, maybe BBC coming at the wrong time in Sept. Negative news about wide spread use of fiber may seem baffling to them. Not Seacom's fault. Wish they could come in Jan next year, when the price and absorbtion wars will be nearing to an end.... my thots.
