I was thinking of using ushahidi to create a map that enables good Samaritans to map lost and found Items like valuable things and passports e.t.c. The map could also help the ministry of immigration deal with the headache of lost ID's. Instead of reprinting IDs they could just search for it among the lost IDs that will be crowd sourced.
I want to know what you guys think. I know some guys had that idea in the IPO48 event although it never got off the ground.
