I was told this ROM works for Galaxy S II. And I actually downloaded it, but didnt get to install it before some keepers took my phone. You will need to install via ODIN.I was gonna test it and write my experience in a young forum I run but that was never to be.On Fri, Jun 15, 2012 at 4:01 PM, Tony Likhanga <tlikhanga@gmail.com> wrote:

Hey,
Anyone managed to get ICS for Galaxy SII ??
I mean usable locally.
Yep,
A colleague of mine is currently running ICS on I9100G.
The ICS package was obtained from some non-official source below :
http://androidadvices.com/update-galaxy-s2-gt-i9100g-official-ics-403-xxlpq-firmware/2/
With the help of Odin3 software running on a PC, the task was quite easily done.
The only thing to be wary about is to distinguish between an ICS bundle packaged for I9100G & that one meant for I9100.
