One of the longest running annoying debates I had in the past was with guys who negotiate really high salaries, you pay them then realise they are not 'in the job'. I think that would be stealing no? Plus they are indeed working with farmers to do some excellent translations of farm to pocket, which is tugging so hard at my long neglected humanitarian nature (pesa kwanza siku hizi!). Considering the opportunity provided to impact on society, the most selfish thought I would do this job for is it seriously enhances my cv, Otherwise I think its an excellent opportunity for sysadmins to grow!

And you are left with what?
If you go to Western Kenya at above 100k (tell them not to tax it) .. rent is like 5k; Cheaper food; Cheaper hotels; Muliro gardens abound;
You will save ALOT !!! Even start your own business (es)...
