Make sure you match the name [principle name] used to generate certificate with what you are using in outlook.

For example if you used mail.ngige.com to generate certificate, use same in outlook [pop/imap etc]. If you use a resolved dns IP or local address it will keep popping till Jesus returns to pick his believers.

One way around it is to generate your own valid SSL certificates using free CA's like Let's Encrypt and the configuring your Zimbra to use them.
