This is actually rather sad as yu are supposed to be after the youth market. . . they should thus ensure up time that is better than or matches face book and other social networks. . . .haven't seen their presence on facebook and twitter. . .They have a massive market but are not sure how to tap it. . .they have a pretty website which just needs polishing up on usability and integrate it with their mobile service. . .like create a profile that can be updated via sms (since their sms's are free anyway) and allow chat via the same. . . .(pc to sms n vice versa. . .) wish I could work with them. . .They could seriously shake up Safaricom n co. Just my nontechnical thots. . . .. On Wed, Sep 30, 2009 at 10:02 AM, Michuki Mwangi <michuki@swiftkenya.com> wrote:

with business.
@Roy, how much revenue does the yu website generate for them?. if it constituted even 10% of the daily revenues it cannot go down. If its just an online presence then it can be up tomorrow and no revenues are lost in the process.
I suppose that view point would help us understand why websites uptime has a direct impact on business or not. If you build on this, the security follows and loads of other issues.
