Morning Good people, Bidii africa is a monster, am telling you our organization is being spammed daily with over 6000 emails from this group i did try the following which never worked; 1. reported abuse 2. un-subscribe thou i hadn't subscribed 3. i also used this url: http://groups.google.com/support/bin/request.py?contact_type=groups_unwanted all in vain anybody with a solution to this monster will be highly appreciated. I've been on a short trip away and upon getting back, I checked my email account. Its swamped by mails from a mailing list at bidiiafrika@googlegroups.com.
I have nothing against any groups trying to do their thing and I appreciate the work done by other groups etc but I'm not interested in receiving email about migingo, pregnancy tests and racist remarks etc. I also appreciate that these people thought I was someone who would contribute but unfortunately I cannot.
The strange part is that I never subscribed to this group and so I assume it was done WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I'm assuming that Google do have a policy against spamming, I'm not going to unsubscribe to the mailing list because I never subscribed to it in the first place.
Before I escalate this further, what would you suggest.
