Well, if you live in a house with a metal door with 3locks ie top middle and bottom locking with a padlock on the middle one only, then I believe its the high time you made some adjustments to your door.
Recently a friend of mine was "fumigated" (all pun intended) with chloroform, funny they knew where he kept his keys, so they proceeded to remove one of the panes, long metal or whatever it was grabbed the keys opened the padlock and using another device opened the lower lock and got away with whatever was in the sitting room. Everything in the bedroom was left intact.
He wakes up in the morning, crazy headache, feeling weak and dizzy, somewhat realizes the door out is not locked, going to lock it still puzzled is when he finds gas cylinder missing and all electronics.
A number of things you must do,
- your keys should not be easily accessible especially from outside the house
- if your door fits the aforementioned description, then ensure the other locks can be secured with a padlock or any other mechanism
- know thy neighbour (the brothers and sister who regularly visit your house)
- have all electronics in the bedroom (sooner or later they will find a way to get there with the drug still active)
