Use this: *www.mydomain.com**/component/users/?view=reset* add (*/component/users/?view=reset*) so apparently if you did not have the forgot password link active you can go to another Joomla website with the forgot password link active (or setup the same version on your localhost and activate the option) then copy the url details after the domain name and post them after your own live domain name.
