First of all, sorry for the loss through the robbery. I hope you've now taken up a domestic insurance policy package if you never had one, because you never know!
Anyway, back to your question, I think your question can only be aptly answered by "your pockets weight". Look at it this way. We all do not fill our houses with similar number, or even the same species of electronic gadgets. Again, we don't know what you already have. Buying a digital TV (The Samsung) saves you just a single extra device to connect, but is it worth it? Say you you bought a 32" LED TV - what is the cost? The most expensive STB goes for around 9000 (and it has HDMI output) so what you need to consider is the what you pay for? Most LED TVs will have about 3 HDMI inputs. If you don't mind several devices, then go that route. If you have so many of them that the 3 HDMIs are not enough, then part with 60k for the digital TV.

I lost a TV to robbery some 3 months ago and I am yet to replace it. Naturally one will be window shopping all through till you finally decide what to opt for. Been mulling over this "buy a tv and add a set top box-considering all other devices you plug in to a tv" and "just wait till you can afford a dvb-t2 compliant tv, which in this case is the Samsung smart tv at 60k".
