The ideos is a good Enough introduction to the android platform. Compared to any other phone in its price range it has no competitor in my opinion. That it doesn't offer a full android experience is debatable. I know guys with iPhones/blackberries that only use them to call and SMS. Are they wasting the resources? Maybe but the gadget is theirs to do with as they wish.
Regards,
The Ideos is the bottom of the range, the cheapest by far android phone you can get. and as said in the article 'you get what you pay for'. I am very happy with my ideos, email, skype, a bit of surfing, google+, ... are satisfactory for me. Apart from that i use it with OSM Tracker for mapping which is GREAT. The GPS has almost the accuracy of a garmin and is good enough for this purpose All in all a BIG advantage over 'feature phones' -- Best Regards, Christian Ledermann <*)))>{ If you save the living environment, the biodiversity that we have left, you will also automatically save the physical environment, too. But If you only save the physical environment, you will ultimately lose both. 1) Don’t drive species to extinction 2) Don’t destroy a habitat that species rely on. 3) Don’t change the climate in ways that will result in the above. }<(((*>
