IMO, Zuku wimax equipment must be set up perfect, it is very unforgiving on any error on set up.

When I was in Woodley, my connection (512) performed better than a pals (1Mbps) who was on the same BTS.
When I moved to Langata, connection was pathetic. I complained and the Zuku guys moved my receiver. It's now ok, though not as good as it was in Woodley, and not as good as a similar Zuku Wimax 512 setup I have in Ongata Rongai.

I moved to Zuku which is considerably cheaper and their 512 was faster than AFOLs 512. (if that makes any sense).
I also prefer Zuku coz I can do my torrents and YouTube, AFOL had a policy where if you use too much bandwidth you get slowed down.

I have a Zuku 1Mbps (symmetric) which cannot handle voice traffic. Even supporting Internet alone is a pain. Very disappointing!!!

I find Access Kenya links to be cleaner than Zuku, unless they have not done something on my link which they have done for Gichingiri and a few others who seem happier than I am.

Anyone to contradict this?
