I dont know how gys can argue that its illegal while the law itself is contentious. It talks about re-programming while in the real sense even adding wallpapers and ringtones is re-programming. Where does one get a licence to be a "bonafide" re-programmer?

I don't understand why people are complaining. When you bought the modem you knew the terms and conditions and YOU signed the contract.
