That's the problem of having a CEO with too much 'fire'. That guy was behaving as if HP was a startup! Making decisions on the fly is not a wise decision at such a stage. However, I think the new management is just reacting to Apotheke's after taste. They haven't even rolled out any PC with webOS and already, its been termed a failure because of the way they are treating it. They need to be gentle with it and it sure promises to be a lethal weapon they have in hand. I remember microsoft getting very fidgety when HP first announced they would bundle their OS with future Hardware releases. Probably why google were first told to hire a mature CEO before they could be funded. On the other hand, maybe this is a soap opera and all those HP threats needed some dampening and Apotheke was HP's Elop from MS teren..teren....tentere. The saga continues next time, with microsoft in Kenya, trying to catch software pirates. Now we will have MDF (Microsoft Defence Forces). These ones wear suits my friends, not combat uniforms. and apparently, they are very effective :-D Happy Jamhuri day!! On Sun, Dec 11, 2011 at 3:20 PM, James Nzomo <kazikubwa@gmail.com> wrote:
The unpopular yet *highly potent* mobile linux distro has been released into the wild! But why did this brilliant piece of software engineering work of art fail? Considering that they had a mad man for a CEO who tried to Eject their PC division, I would argue this epic fail is a result of employing Retarded staff. (Sales, Marketing and Executive staff)
What say you?
