The router takes all - Safaricom, Orange, Airtel..... issue is you'll mostly have to login to change the dial string and or APN when you swap mode/carriers.



I was just wondering if anybody had obvious problems with one of the three mobile providers along Ngong rd but I imagine that all three are about the same in that area.

No comment on that. I am off Ngong Rd.But not too far from 88mph. About 5km. That's significant as BS cells have changed though.


 

The coworking spaces have fine Internet for periods of time but then it entirely drops out.  The variability is what's frustrating.  I'd rather have a consistent 1Mb connection than oscillating between 128Kb and 5Mb and totally down with 1,000ms latencies.

 So sad they can't fix it.
