[Skunkworks] Firefox born from Netscape because Netscape were dumb enough to fall for that "end users" stories and finally closed shop

Why did Netscape close? Even the "end users" could not do anything with the open code when it was released for open source development. Any Netscape/Firefox coder contributors on this list to open our views? Rgds.
