I can&#39;t believe Kenyans think Swahili is cumbersome and impractical!!<br>I&#39;m not the most fluent Swahili speaker but I blame it on excessive emphasis on English in our education system. I remember we used to be punished with the dreaded &quot;disc&quot; if we were caught speaking Swahili by our primary school teachers. Way to promote the national language!<br>
I still think Swahili is a good language, it&#39;s just that most of us are poor at it. So I commend Google for trying to promote it to us (or force it upon us, whichever way you look at it)<br><br>-- <br>Shiro Njagi<br><br>
