Me too, mine is opening and crashing after 5secs, i have uninstalled/reinstalled but wapi, no luck.
FYI am on Ubuntu 10.04-LTS, out of close to 50 guys am the only one affected.

Thanks for the tweak, my problem is that the effing app just shut down and won't come back up; that leaves me at instruction number 1a.
Reinstall? Nah! I'll pass that!
BTW: In a group of 4 guys on the same network, we have 50% outtage. Whatever criteria was used to pick "who goes"! <---- Democracy!
