Fair warning MIchael, I have owned a HTC One (M7) for about a year now and though it's an excellent phone in terms of specs + software, it's got one major problem - stuck/ dead pixels. Started about 6 to 8 months in and it's not the only reported case I know of. A friend has a HTC One (M8) with the same issue, so it seems to cut across different generations of the phone. Still not sure if it's a hardware or software problem but I've tried a couple of hacks to no avail. Not sure I'd fully recommend it but then again it could be that I'm a heavy user...:-)
