Most of the people I have spoken to go like "X sio m'baya. In fact ningempa kura. Lakini ni nani atampigia kura?" That is the problem. Politicians know that no-one will care about a manifesto when at the ballot because you will get to the ballot and say "I know X is good for our country, but why vote for him/her and waste my vote". And so they just copy paste manifestos, and concentrate on the 'real business of elections' - choppers, cash, numbers, ethnicities, slurring and propaganda.
Let us be different this next election. I suggest
1. decide who you will vote for without asking "what everyone else thinks"
2. if you still have'nt decided by march 2013, keep your voters card safely tucked in your wallet. There will be 2017.
3. if you can't do that either, simama tukupigie. si hata wewe umetosha !

:-)

But seriously though, does Mudavadi have a chance. He is just hopeless, the manifesto is wishful thinking and unsustainable.
