@Chiteri, I have used Huawei modems on FreeBSD/PC-BSD without any problems. E160, E1750, E1820, E173. If this Wi-Free uses PPP, then you should surely connect. However, I am not ready to comment on how things will be at protocol level. I just realized that I saw this thread's subject as WiFi and not Wi-Free. Sorry and apologies to the OP (Edge Kenya).
