You can only accessing the emails and the internet if you sibscribe to your mobile phone provider BB hosted service eg safaricom or zain BB services which will mean that you will have to pay monthly fee for the service. Otherwise you just forget about mails being pushed on you BB and install java applications like gmail for you to enjoy emails but in this case you will not be using the push technology which means you BB will just be like any other phone which supports java applications. That way you will not be paying the monthly cost but you will only be loading your line with airtime or paying at the end of the month if you are a postpay customer. My question was, is there a way to use internet and email on BB once you unhook from the enterprise server?
Once you unhook from BES, there is BIS, but still you have to subscribe to data services with the providers, I believe. Or you can install gmail app <http://www.google.com/mobile/mail/> and use it on the BB, as long as you have data enabled.
