Certainly, I do regulate what my kids watch and what kind of media
they have access to.
But I am a parent and not the government -- and I am clearly the most
qualified to know what my kids should see.
You are stating that you want the government to babysit what everyone
should see and hear. Why cant responsible people police themselves and
their kids ? How is a government , any government, more qualified to
do this ?
In an ideally incorruptible world everyone would be born deaf, mute
and blind without arms or legs. Perhaps we should genetically
reengineer future generations.
