Those are fancy laptops so whnever he unleashes infront of the boys he'll het more than enuff ooohhss.... and aahhss....
I do not how much they cost but should be in the region of hundreds of thousands.A bank manager will obviously have a credit card so he can check online purchase options.

Here's my reasoning; If whichever non-mac laptop he chooses costs more that 100k, he might as well get the Macbook white @ 105k. Below 100k, I would go with Ngatia's suggestion, but specifically the XPS series. Also, 2GB RAM should be minimum, if he gets 4GB, then he'll need the OS to be 64bit.
But on second thoughts, I would push him to get MBP then sit back and watch with glee as his savvyness shoots thru the roof :-)
