Pre-4G is LTE or Mobile Wimax but these are usually branded as 4G. These are operational in the capitals of Norway ad Sweden (LTE) and Lithuania (mobile Wimax). True 4G would be speeds around 1Gbps. HSUPA is not even pre-4G. It is just another version of UMTS 3G. It is not even branded as 4G. But go ahead - we can even call it 4G+ ;) On 11/15/2010 01:40 PM, Odhiambo Washington wrote:
What is 4G? Remember the last time this was discussed here, it was agreed that 4G itself is a "gray" (or it is "grey") standard and has not been "fully" implemented anywhere.

Note that this is not 4G. It is just HSUPA, still part of UMTS. You will need a different modem for 4G as well.

Ok...any ideas where the sites are? Wouldn't mind relocating :-)
Safari Park Area, KU, and Thika, IIRC.
Decide which place suits your relocation, but Lithuania is guaranteed :-)
